After a long complicated period of limitations and restrictions due to the pandemic, the fruit and vegetable world came together once again: the meeting place was FRUIT ATTRACTION 2021 in Madrid: Three intense days of meetings, visits and discussions.
The Spanish exhibition marks another step towards normality after #Macfrut, with an international trade fair event.
The Italians – over 100 exhibiting companies and a large number of visitors – returned to their companies satisfied: meetings with customers they had not seen for a while, a few new contacts made the three days spent in Madrid truly worthwhile.
Orchidea Frutta Srl was present at the exhibition with its stand in the area set up by ICE – AGENCIA ITALIANA PARA EL COMERCIO EXTERIOR: a positive assessment of the fair, numerous people met, a lot of interest shown in our products (especially table grapes, but not exclusively) and a consolidated idea: the fruit and vegetable sector is evolving, it needs its players to meet and network, it needs to advertise in order to make its products known to everyone, it needs to focus on product quality and put quantity in second place. This is the only way to get out of the impasse caused by ever higher operating costs and increases in energy, labour and packaging, without ignoring the competition from other producer countries, which came later with their products, but are working better to conquer the market. #MadeinItaly must be protected, it must be conveyed and promoted, but it must never become a magic mirror in which to take refuge in order to avoid growing and evolving.
