Harvesting
Artichokes are harvested from November to April.
As with peaches, harvesting is scalar, i.e. done in several stages as the plant produces several times during the winter months.
The harvest stage is very delicate as it affects the commercial placement of the product and the maintenance of its characteristics over time.
When
We determine the ideal moment for this phase, keeping in mind the product’s shelf life.
It is done strictly by hand with the help of a knife.

Reception and
storage
After being harvested, the artichokes arrive in the reception area where the raw material is checked and cooled for a short time in cold rooms or by forced air.
Selection
In order to guarantee you the best products, we pay special attention to the selection phase.
On-site machinery supports us in this process by also helping us to wash and remove any foreign bodies.
All non-standard products are excluded.
Packing
One of the final stages is packaging. The artichokes are placed in the packaging requested by the customer. After tying the pallets, they are stored in cold storage waiting to be delivered to the end customer.
During storage and transport, we choose the best temperature for a long product shelf life and appropriate for the route it will take.

Multiformat Tray - Plateau - Trays - Carry Bags - Cardboard - Flowpack - Thermo-welded.
All packaging can be customised according to customer requirements.
