Harvesting
Orchidea Frutta’s apricots are harvested strictly by hand to ensure that the fruit is handled with care. The first selection of the product starts on the plant and therefore influences the shelf life of the product.
When
We harvest the fruit from May to August when its colour turns to orange.

Reception and
storage
During the reception phase, the apricots are checked and immediately
cooled in cold storage or by forced air to preserve their organoleptic properties.
Packing
Once the destination packaging is defined, the apricots are packed and kept in cold storage pending transport.
Thanks to the company having its own fleet of vehicles, the product can count on a constant temperature no higher than 5°C, which allows excellent shelf life.
